A good friend of mine is involved with a physical theatre group in Milwaukee called, Quasimondo (www.quasimondo.org). Last week, we drove up there to see their latest production, The Nautical Tragedy of Dick III: A Crude Sea Shanty Side Show. It was like nothing I have ever seen before. It was so visually interesting, creative, fun, and entertaining. This show includes everything from song and dance to puppetry and clowning/bouffon. They just performed at the Milwaukee Fringe Festival last weekend and will have performances at their studio space in Milwaukee on September 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, and 10th.
