Last weekend I volunteered to take photos at the Chicago Fringe Festival in Jefferson Park. I particularly enjoyed photographing Penny, starring Nico Fernandez and Kearstyn Keller, at the Gift Theatre. This unique show was done in the style of a silent movie with music ranging from the 40s to the present. Having no formal dialogue of any kind brought out a very unique expressiveness on the part of the actors that was very exciting to photograph.
